Dialogue Between Employers and Ukrainian Professionals
What does it take to establish yourself successfully in today’s German labour market? Which skills are employers looking for, and what do professionals expect from a modern workplace?
In moderated small-group discussions, participants explored current labour-market developments, the expectations of employers and employees, essential professional skills, and practical experiences from different industries. Employers also had the opportunity to present current vacancies, while professionals could learn about specific job opportunities and apply directly at the event.
The World Cafés brought together Ukrainian refugees who care for people with disabilities, representatives of businesses, non-governmental organisations and other institutions representing potential employers. They created a space for direct dialogue, networking and the exchange of practical information about employment and opportunities for cooperation.
The World Cafés aimed to support the professional integration of Ukrainian refugees by helping participants connect with employers and learn more about the labour market.
