Continuation of the INKuLtur programme in 2022/2023

How can people with disabilities gain better access to culture?

This has been the central question that we have been addressing in the INKuLtur programme since 2018. Over the course of the past four years, our programme has contributed significantly towards establishing an inclusive mindset in the cultural sector. But inclusion is a process with many small steps left to take. Therefore, we will continue on this path in the upcoming two years and, together with our partners in Eastern Europe, keep focusing on the accessibility of diverse cultural institutions.

Further training, field research and networking forums enable joint analyses, professional discussions and mutual support. This enables us to support various actors in our project countries from the fields of culture, social affairs and media in establishing or expanding inclusive structures in their institutions.

Within our programme, we will continue to cooperate with an international network of experts working on accessibility in all sectors and areas of culture for people with disabilities. They will provide participants with extensive know-how and practice-based guidance on planning, implementing and following up on inclusive processes in cultural institutions.

We are looking forward to all that is to come! Here’s to a good cooperation!
